It was difficult, not because I second-guessed my decision, I did NOT, but because I respected those I worked for so much that I needed them to know it was something I had to do, I was not quitting, but rather, following my heart. In short, I ended up resigning from my position as an actuarial analyst at my company. Were magnets the solution to the problem that plagued me and most everyone else in the fitness community for the last 15 years? When I arrived at the parking garage, I reached into my glove compartment and noticed a magnetic money clip. I thought about sewing a Velcro band around the waistband of my shorts that I could use to stick a Velcro pocket to therefore I could move the pocket around, but still, I’d have to have Velcro shorts to use the pocket.Closer, but still not the solution I needed.
I imagined a pair of shorts that had another band around the waistband that I could sew a pocket to that would allow me to slide the pocket around the band, but for obvious reasons I quickly scraped that idea. I quickly became aware why this problem had not been solved yet why the armband was the prevailing market solution, but I was resolute in my determination to find a real solution. Protective/Sweat Resistant – I wanted to be able to operate my device with ONE hand and NOT have to remove it from its sweat-proof, protective casing, I needed to be able to operate the screen AND the buttons without taking it OFF my waist band, and with one hand, drop it back to position.
